Works of Satoshi Kamiya 1995-2003
Ebook Thumails Ebook Info Ebook Summary
Category Origami Satoshi Kamiya is one of the leading "Technical Origami" creators in the world today. Most of his models, despite being ultra-complex and extremely detailed, still have a sense of beauty and are quite aesthetic and pleasing to look at.
This book was expected for a long time, and when its contents was finally revealed, there was some disappointment, as almost all the models in it have already been published elsewhere - in magazines, convention-books etc

This is a fun joint effort of two of today's leading American origami creators.
All kinds of animals are represented here, from simple to very complex models.
The book opens with a detailed guide to the various symbols and procedures used.
Some of the models require the use of paper colored the same on both size, and some use non-square paper, but there is something for every taste here.

This publication is also known as a Hardcover called "Origami Animals". Both these books carry the exact same contents.
The book starts with a very good introductory guide. There are fantastic color photographs of all the models, and the diagramming quality is excellent.
Difficulty ranges from the very simple to the complex, so there's something for everyone.
The models are arranged in "scenes" depicting various habitats.
The book is currently out of print, but can still be found here and there from
second-hand book dealers.
